Sundance Institute hired us to expand their existing identity system guide. We were asked to include the some of the developed marketing assets from their biggest event, the Sundance Film Festival. We expanded the core identity by translating the glow element into a variety of different representations. We incorporated the option to blur the primary wordmark into the revised system. The color palette was updated and streamlined. Custom visual assets including patterns, background textures, typographic treatments, and Photoshop color adjustment layers were created.
Part of this project was to create an email newsletter template for the Sundance Institute, specifically for that year. Together with social media the newsletter became quickly one of their primary touchpoints with their audience.
